This site is a published portion of my Obsidian vault. This portion contains what is essentially my brain outside of my brain; my own personal wiki complete with abundant links, tags, and as many notes as I have been able to write or transfer here since i began using Obsidian in mid 2023. This site consists mostly of my own handwritten notes based on materials read that are also linked throughout (whether website, pdf, video etc...). Note that, due to the novelty of my usage of Obsidian, there are still many stubbed notes with some form of Todo tag, however, there are many that are complete as well especially in the Web3 and Economics sections. Feel free to take a look around and get a better understanding of the types of topics that I am interested in and/or passionate about. As mentioned earlier, the sections that are mostly filled out thus far are the `Brain 2.0/Web3` and `Brain 2.0/Economics` sections. # Conventions and Guidelines ### Conventions - Hashtags start with capital letter and are CamelCase - Documents, such as PDFs, not written by me, are in separate folders called _Documents_ in each section - If something has corresponding YouTube playlist or twitter bookmark folder, it will have a note labeled "YouTube Playlist (section name)" or "Twitter Bookmarks (section name)" in its folder. - The section labeled _Archive_ is where things from the Personal Life Information section, that are no longer pertinent, go. - There are three levels of one-off Todo tasks, *Todo/Backlog* which is the least urgent, *Todo/Soon* which is not urgent but should be done soon and *Todo/Now* which is urgent. - Tags with the name Todo mean they are simply one-off todo items, however, tags with the name ObsidianTodo, indicate that there is a lot of work to be done within the context of the notes and filing them out more properly/thoroughly ### Guidelines - Temporary: Notes are starting out very tag heavy, but as more are accumulated, note links will become more prevalent - Within _System Folders (Do Not Touch)_ there are two folders, _Attachments_ and _Templates_ which are both used by Obsidian and should not be tampered with. _Attachments_ is where attachments such as photos are automatically stored and _Templates_ is where new file Templates are stored - _General ToDo_ contains different sets of ToDo notes for different timeframes (daily, weekly, monthly, yearly) - _Brain 2.0_ is the meat of these notes and will consist of my brain outside my brain - Within this section, each subsection will have its own overarching ToDo list which serves as a backlog which will have the tag Backlog when it is not empty. From this backlog, todo items will be pulled and placed into their appropriate sections/notes with the tag Todo. - _Personal Life Information_ is where general information that I will likely need for reference goes (e.g. insurance policy numbers, marriage documents, notes about travel, cooking recipes etc...) - Anywhere where "something General Notes" is linked, should probably be replaced by something more specific in future. - Also, general notes sections, if they grow too large, should probably be split into other notes # General Tag Notes See [[Tags]] file # Obsidian Help #Help #ObsidianHelp - **[Obsidian Documentation](https://help.obsidian.md/Getting+started/Download+and+install+Obsidian)** - **[Obsidian Tutorial](https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL3NaIVgSlAVLHty1-NuvPa9V0b0UwbzBd)** - **[Obsidian Tutorial (Newer)](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WqKluXIra70)** - **[Markdown Syntax](https://www.markdownguide.org/basic-syntax/)** ![[Pasted image 20230902203031.png|1200]] ### Extra Markdown Help - To add link to header, do normal link, but within double brackets, after the note title itself, do a hashtag and the heading name. - To add link to anywhere in document, type # then ^ after the note title in the double brackets. - Use | after the note title to use a different name for what the link will appear as in the markdown. - To preview content of another note within current note where it is linked, add ! before the first double bracket ### Graph View Help When in the graph view, you can filter out certain tags with Boolean operations. For example: `-(tag:#Todo/Backlog OR tag:#TodoSoon)` Will remove tags *Todo/Backlog* and *Todo* and as well as files with those tags.
