# Stelaerian
## Description
Adorned with a wide variety of different features that help their survival in the range of environments in the world, they can be found on most of the continents, with the exception of Glaccaris due to the frigid weather. They typically are 4 to 5 feet tall, with rare exceptions in male Stelaerians peaking above 6 feet. They walk with a ginger and gentle step, weighing around 120 lbs. Since the Big Bang, these people have not found an end cap to their life span yet, as most of them die prematurely or from unforeseen circumstances. They have been observed to live into their 200s and further however.
## History
Emerging within the Age of Platinum alongside the multitude of animalistic races, the Stelaerian people were brought into the world of Mannon on the whim of the Moon Goddess Uren and her elder Titan, Urenna. With many species of moth flitting about in the world at this point, the two lunar deities saw past their differences as God and Titan and made these people together, shaping the first Stelaerian people.
This race would represent the voices of the unsung deities which hung within the night sky, their waning and waxing every day following the tides of nature and its cycles of light and benevolence, changed to shadow and ferocity. Many different subraces of the Stelaerian were created from this philosophy, with some representing the light that would come from the gentle glow of the moon in it's waxing phases, while others held identities closely aligned with the Titanic brethren of the lunar Titan Urenna. Uren made it clear on her intentions with the conception of this race, and Urenna honored that, but still offered a kinder representation of her siblings and extended family so that the world may see a less harsh side of her kin in the modern age.
## Origins
On a fateful evening, set above the clouds and all of the mortal world, the sounds of fine sandals echoed against the marble stone pavers that lie among a scattered mosaic in front of the chained Titan of the night sky and greater moon, Urenna. As the footsteps grew closer to the enshrined wall of ceramic that backed the chained Titan, a familiar face turned to the elder deity, her successor and the deity of the lesser moon, Uren. The pillars of overgrown marble made a spectacle of the imprisonment for Urenna, with the mosaic at her feet displaying what the night sky would look like to the mortal world below her. Before the Goddess could utter any words to the Titan, Urenna's head shot upwards from a slumped state, as if she knew what were to come next; a form of torture or berating for her eternal punishment of shame and misery over the choice to side with her elder kin during the Divine War. To the shock and awe of the bound woman, Uren muttered something inaudible before raising her gaze from the floor to the Titan's eyes. "I am not here with more unbearable punishment for your transgressions. I only wish to speak to you on the nature of our very beings, an existential discussion, if you would be willing." Uren posed herself with a small tilt of her waist, taking a step forwards and reaching a hand forwards as though the offer she made were a physical object to be received by the bound woman. The purple-streaked black hair of the Titan slipped forwards momentarily while she thought on the proposition.
Tilting her head back, Urenna met the gaze of the Goddess with a coolly collected demeanor. "What is it that you would ask me of, regarding your existential query?" Her tone coming off gently annoyed, the exhaustion of her bonds weighing into her voice. Uren's returned stare softened while she took another step forwards, her white silk dress draping behind with out a sound. "We have given you the night sky to watch the world your kin so fervently wanted, placing you with a watchful eye to see the world from the view you once held while they reigned with chaos. The moons in the sky sit as you and I, shining down upon the mortals with distant and periodic admiration for what they do. Why do you think we were chosen to represent such things?" A puzzled look washed over Uren's face with visible concern and a hinted distress, though it was only a glimpse that Urenna caught before the Goddess looked up. The Titan reflected the puzzled look upon the question having time to rest in the air, her brow furrowing at the thought. Uren pressed further "I have seen the light that we bring as the moons in the sky, with so many mortals looking to us in longing, thought, and curiosity. It makes me yearn to give them something but our silence only brings me sorrow." Her voice falters for a moment, Urenna interjecting finally "This is how it is, we have stayed in the skies since their creation from the hands of your siblings, observing from afar and stepping foot into their world when they would be none the wiser. Would you seek to give ourselves a voice that could reach them? It would defy the very nature of our beings as Goddess and Titan..." trailing off, a defiant charge into the statement softening to a somber acceptance.
After a moment hung in the air of their brief exchange, the two looked at each other with hesitance. "What if we made another mortal race?" Uren broke the silence. "One that could be our voice, so that the people who look so lonely and sorrowful would have an answer from their moons." The starry night sky that surrounded them above the clouds shimmered with movement and glints of hope cast off in the distance. "Do you really believe that would be the answer to their prayers? Would you be satisfied with that answer if you were down there with them?" Urenna chastised her younger counterpart. "They see us as everything, and if all that we offer them in return is another people they belittle and slaughter... I don't think I can just stand by and watch!" The Titans emotions overcoming her, chains rattling while her hands began to shake in vehement frustration. "If we are to do this, they deserve to be a graceful people. They should resemble the beauty that we wish to show the world, in spite of the fact *they* do nothing but trample upon it." The two women glanced around, acknowledging where they both stand with the issue at hand. A flutter of birds broke off into the night nearby, leaving the two to look for ideas. Smaller wildlife passed them by for what felt like an eternity, only for a small pair of moths to flit about near a small shrub that decorated the pavilion. "It should be them." Uren pointed with an open palm, directing the attention of her elder to the moths darting about before they landed in her hand. "They leave no harm in their wake, with only a soft and warm presence within them." She raised her hand and let the pair take off into the night, briefly touching her lips with the same hand and imparting them with a farewell kiss. Urenna nodded in agreement and held her bound hands with their palms facing up as she gazed into the night sky above them, calling upon her celestial magic to grace these new people into being.
"What shall we call them?" Uren asked, turning back to her elder. "What is it the Humans call the two of their moons again?" The Titan paused to permit the Goddess time to recollect. "I believe they are called Stellena and Eria." Uren sounded sure of this answer as she responded. "Then we shall call them Stelaerians, as the two of us have brought these people into the world on our own." Urenna smiled briefly at the Goddess, who returned it with a small chuckle. "What will Zosin think of this?..." Uren sighed, knowing that her father would not be pleased at the fact she had communicated with any of the Titans, let alone her elder moon.
