[[AI]] Bongard problems are very interesting metrics of human intelligence, and a possible idea of the future of ai. They are formulated as a 'find the difference between two images' problem, where 6 images on the left are compared to 6 images on the right. The left and right images belong to different categories, and it is important that there are six on both sides, in order to be able to understand the similitude. For instance, in this example, we can see that shapes on the left are different from those one the right, the task is to find out how are they different. The category of difference is convex/concave. The idea of the puzzle is to figure out the category of difference, not compare the pattern. If a machine could do this, it might be said to possess general intelligence, as it would be able to understand and switch between domains. ![](https://www.foundalis.com/res/bps/bongard/p004.gif) Links: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bongard_problem https://www.foundalis.com/res/bps/bpidx.htm
