Discord: @valentinechu. ## Geography The main landmass is called [[Kaelarad]], it is separated into 8 "Great Lands": - [[Acilia]], a big fertile lowland in the eastern center of Kaelarad, home to the [[Acilic|Acilics]]. - [[Meralic]], directly east of Acilia, separated by the [[Meralic Bay]] into somewhat culturally divided north and south, native to the [[Merling|Merlings]] but also home to some [[Sten|Stens]] and [[Acilic|Acilics]]. - [[Hearthstone]], northeast of Kaelarad, north of Meralic and east of Frostwalk, a rocky and somewhat volcanic land home to the [[Sten|Stens]] who are supposedly the first [[Race of Man]]. - [[Frostwalk]], northern center of Kaelarad, a Great Land with many glacial islands and small parts connected to the main land. It is home to the [[Kawpa|Kawpas]] - the [[Great Forest]], a large untamed forest that spans most of the Great Land western center of Kaelarad, home to the [[High Elf|High Elves]]. - [[Paligdar]], a large desert Great Land that is home to the [[Dark Elf|Dark Elves]] in its southern regions. - [[Gu Lan]], a great archipelago further south of Paligdar that is home to the [[Haiyin|Haiyins]]. - [[Weststretch]], a frost over wasteland west of the islands of Frostwalk, home to the [[Ash Elf|Ash Elves]]. ## Races and People There are 9 great races, separated into [[Race of Man]], [[Race of Elf]], and [[Race of Beast]]: Races of Man: - [[Acilic]], a people of scholars and merchants whose land is ruled by usurpers, though they care little about that fact, and even less on their rules and laws. - [[Sten]], a warrior race claiming decedents from the first [[Living God of War]]. - [[Kawpa]], a tribal people that has unique magic that use sounds and music. Races of Elf: - [[High Elf]], a proud people who though appear as united on the outside is fiercely divided on the inside. - [[Ash Elf]], a monk like people who seclude themselves inside temples with only those born during a blizzard allowed to venture out though forever banned from returning after the age of 20. - [[Dark Elf]], a festive and free people who loves to party and do art, many like to travel around in caravans and trade. Races of Beast: - [[Merling]], a carefree races of people with fin-like ears and webbed hands and feet. They did not have written language for most of history, therefore many of their old history is lost to time. - [[Harpy]], a all female race of avians with the torso and head like any races of Man, though with talons elbow and knee down. They are now mostly enslaved and treated as pets or property. - [[Haiyin]], a crab-like race of people that have unique gods and strict code of honor who self exiles if proven guilty. ## Religion There are 5 main groups of gods: - The [[4 Pillars]], 4 visible Pillars that can be seen in the night sky that revolves along with the sun and moons. They switch who to be in the sky according to the seasons, and are most commonly called, [[Spring (god)|Spring]], [[Summer (god)|Summer]], [[Autumn (god)|Autumn]], and [[Winter (god)|Winter]]. Creator Gods that are dormant and nonreactive. - The [[Pillar Guardians]], servants of the 4 Pillars, but unlike them, the Guardians have forms that can appear on the mortal plane and interactive with people. They are the [[Vigilant Watchers]], [[Standing Towers]], [[Fateful Stones]], and [[Serpentine Devourers]] for the 4 Pillars. - The [[Living Gods]], they are constantly reincarnating gods that dies and relives, core to the origins of the races of Man. They are the [[Living God of Winds]], [[Living God of War]], [[Living God of Foxes]], [[Living God of Songs]], [[Living God of Blood]]. - The [[Gods beyond the Firmament]], (to be added) - The [[Shiwa]], elemental gods of the Haiyins, (to be added) ## Magic Magic is based on the [[Anima(magic)|anima]], a fundamental energy and source of magic. Magic is divided into 5 arts and 4 schools: - The Art of [[Alchemy]], balancing the ingredients "Trinity" (property of everything) and mixes them to create an alchemical concoction. - The Art of [[Enchanting]], using captured souls to imbue objects with magical property. - The Art of [[Scribing]], drawing magic sigils on parchment to create a one-use scroll that stores the power of a spell. - The Art of [[Spellcasting]], the most common of magic, using surrounding anima and channeling that through a mages body, then use the mind for imagination and concentration, the gesture to guide the flow of anima and a spell material to give shape to the magic to cast a spell. - The Art of [[Spellweaving]], an branch of Spellcasting, tweak the mind, gesture, and material of a spell to alter it or create new spells entirely. - The School of [[school of Alteration|Alteration]], magic that alters the physical world temporarily by forcing anima into physical shapes. the School of [[school of Evocation|Evocation]], war magic, is its minor school. - The School of [[school of Conjuration|Conjuration]], magic that brings objects and beings from outside the [[Firmament]]. - The School of [[school of Illusion|Illusion]], magic that create false visuals and audios, the School of [[school of Enchantment|Enchantment]], magic that directly manipulates the mind, is its minor school. - The School of [[school of Restoration|Restoration]], magic that heals and regenerated damaged body parts, the School of [[school of Necromancy|Necromancy]], magic that manipulates the soul and the dead, and the School of [[school of Warding|Warding]], barrier and fortification magic, are its minor schools.
