Hi everyone!
This is the webpage of the Directed Reading Program of the Math Department at UofT.
> [!info]- What is the Directed Reading Program?
> The Directed Reading Program (DRP) pairs a small group of undergraduate students (up to 3 students) with a graduate mentor to work on a project proposed by the mentor.
>
> The goal of the program is to provide students with an opportunity to explore mathematics in a setting different from undergraduate courses. Some proposed project require prior experience (like 3-d year undergraduate courses) and provide research opportunities, while other are intended as an accessible introduction to a new area of mathematics.
>[!info]- When is the program?
> The program runs in the Winter term for 12 weeks from January to April.
>[!info]- What is the time commitment?
> We expect students and mentors to meet weekly for 12 weeks for at least an hour. Dependent on the project you can also expect additional time for reading and problem-solving (up to 3 hours per week).
