# Consumables ________________________________________ ________________________________________ ## Basic Overview Consumable items can be created by characters with brew or culinary skill. They also contain a set amount of residue. Residue reduces BSI; BSI reduces poison damage and prevents Potion Sickness and negative Foodborne Illness. A heat source is usually needed. A potion is a brew created with ether or some other exotic matter. Clinical Medications are also available. Players can also prepare meals, some of which can grant buffs to certain entities that eat them.
