![[Header#^header-embed]] ## Birth Frances THRALE was born in [[Brewery House, Borough|Brewery House]] to father [[Henry Thrale]] and mother [[Hester Thrale née Salusbury|Hester Lynch Salusbury]]. During and after the birth [[Hester Thrale née Salusbury|Mrs. Thrale]] was under great stress from rushing around as [[Parliamentary career|Mr. Thrale successfully pursued a position in Parliament]] after Alexander Hume had died leaving a position open. [[Henry Thrale|Mr. Thrale]] announced his running four days before Frances was born. ## Christening She was christened on Wed 3 October 1765 at Saint Saviour's Church, London (now Southwark Cathedral).
