### John 13-31-35 - Jesus Predicts His Glorification > [!Bible] [John 13:31-33 - ESV](https://bolls.life/get-text/ESV/43/13/) > 31. When he had gone out, Jesus said, “Now is the Son of Man glorified, and God is glorified in him. > 32. If God is glorified in him, God will also glorify him in himself, and glorify him at once. > 33. Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You will seek me, and just as I said to the Jews, so now I also say to you, ‘Where I am going you cannot come.’ Given the context of glory and the Father's relationship with the Son, is there anything new we should derive from this passage? *I want to pull back to John 8, specifically: > [!Bible] [John 8:54-56 - ESV](https://bolls.life/get-text/ESV/43/8/) > 54. Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ > 55. But you have not known him. I know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and I keep his word. > 56. Your father Abraham rejoiced that he would see my day. He saw it and was glad.” *Might be nothing, might learn something from the group. I love that I can learn something from the group of guys.
