# Welcome! > THE SHARDBEARER SAGA > *"Where light fractures, stories begin."* The Shardbearer Saga is the tale of a freshly born universe, created between the clash of stillness and desire. [[Euphoria]], a newly born deity, was meant to bring balance to the newly created world, overlooking [[The Everhub]] and the stories it contains. But her light was unstable—too strong to be contained. It refracted across the newly born universe, scattering fragments of herself across the world she was meant to protect. Those fragments—called [[Shards]]—are living pieces of her being, each representing a different aspect of her soul, given form and will. And now, as a new threat begins to stir within this universe, it falls to the Shards to come together, to survive each other, and to decide what kind of future they want to live in. On this site, you’ll find information about the world, the Shards, and the main story where it all takes place. I hope to keep updating this as I write more, I have many plans to expand this world in the future... maybe even writing more sagas! And, if you’re reading this, thank you.
