Yeah I mean canceling a normal into RS, but confirm means you check to see if your normal hit and then quickly press the appropriate follow up. So in this case you throw out a normal and get ready to press RS but only do it if you see your normal hit. (There are situations where you can buffer the RS safely but its more technical.) For example you counterhit someone at a weird angle in the air then land and f5H => RS, or if you hit a long range poke and aren't sure how to confirm, RS confirms it easily and the combo is familiar. Or if your usual confirm option is on cooldown. An example with Percy might be you hit 2H anti air and he has 2 routes depending on whether its counterhit or not but RS hits both. Or he hits max range f5L/M I don't think he gets a non counterhit combo off either unless he uses RS to confirm. Most characters including Percy can do smth like 2L => 2L => f5L => RS for a lot of damage off a quick low/frame trap midscreen and its easy to confirm. "I hit you with a normal so I'm gonna get a full combo from it, regardless of spacing, cooldowns, position on the screen, crouching or standing, air or grounded, regular or counterhit"
