## 2025-06-28 I’ve had some distance since I watched this movie and…it was kinda ass? It was better than the last one, but yikes. It did not have to be 3 hours long, especially given that the first hour is a completely unnecessary mess. Like, just totally worthless exposition with flashback after flashback because the filmmakers had complete distrust in the audience to remember a single thing from the last movie. Things finally picked up once Tom Cru—I mean Jesu—I mean, “Ethan Hunt” got to the submarine, but man that first third really burned me and I doubt I will ever rewatch this **Mission Impossible** like I have the other ones. A sloppily paced and edited film from top to bottom.
