## What's your Cohost Link? [Iro](https://cohost.org/Iro) ## What's the thing? It's a Let's Play of a weirdly-comprehensive RPG Maker fangame for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. I've always wanted to do a Let's Play of some kind, but I don't quite have the means to capture good video, and video editing is a skill I'd have to learn from scratch. I've spent many hours watching/reading Let's Plays when doing anything else seemed impossible. Video is sort of seen as the default form of the LP I think, but the Archive (http://lparchive.org/LetsPlay/) has a ton of Screenshot format LPs that I've always been drawn to. It makes more sense as a format for an RPG where a video might have a lot of same-y battles and downtime, and the one-page/post-per-update format makes them nice and binge-able while also easy to maintain your spot. Sometimes you just need something to totally zone out to and click "Next" on 100 times (and you don't want to read all the shitty isekai manga out there). A forum of some kind is of course the ideal form for something like this, but those aren't really around anymore and since Cohost lets you do longer posts, I thought I'd give it a shot. 7th Stand User hits a solid venn diagram of like, people interested in RPG Maker specifically, people interested in JoJo, and people interested in video games and RPGs in general. It's also something I've played a few times myself so I have a decent understanding of its workings. Otherwise, the hole in my ceiling and through the wall of the two upstairs bathrooms ain't gonna be fixed for like, two months yet as I write this.
