# Project Hail Mary: Book Review
Project Hail Mary was a fun book because of the sheer imagination involved.
I do not read a lot of fiction, and I have only recently started building the habit of reading more. This book pulled me in because I enjoy science fiction, but I was not fully prepared for how much visual imagination some scenes required.
Two things stood out.
## Vivid Scene Descriptions
The book has scenes with a lot of vivid physical detail.
Imagining the physics involved was challenging. I found myself looking up images to better picture the space travel and scientific concepts. In some places, I almost wished the book included diagrams.
## High School Physics
The book also brought back high school physics in a fun way.
Some parts rely on basic mathematical and physical intuition, especially around space, motion, and time. It was enjoyable to return to concepts I had studied earlier and see them show up inside a story.
## Recommendation
I recommend this book to fiction readers, especially if they enjoy science fiction that cares about problem-solving and scientific imagination.
