High prime requisite ability scores may earn your PC +5% or even +10% XP. Additionally, human characters get a +5% XP bonus. Even if your [[Player Character|PC]] begins play at 1st level with rather anemic ability scores, there are eight opportunities (achieving levels 2 through 9) for each of the six ability scores to improve. This means you could potentially begin play with no bonus XP percentage, but achieve a bonus percentage after gaining a few levels. You can also gain ad-hoc bonus XP for contributing to the campaign with your imagination in the form of a write-up: if your NPC, location, historical tidbit, etc., is accepted as canon, it goes on the campaign Obsidian wiki and you get XP awarded.
