I’ve barely been on my laptop. I’m writing this on my phone. My notes for [[2024-09-Week-3]] & [[2024-09-Week-3]] are a mess and I’m too tired to make them legible. What this has taught me is: 1. Sending out compost heap updates helps me to refine and curate my notes 2. I my not always have capacity to keep things as tidy as I have thus far 3. Having a week or two of chaotic notes is not going to kill me What have I been doing? I’d love to say it’s been a regulating week, but it’s been super hard. David is having meltdowns every time we go outside due to some wasp sting trauma. And outside is my happy place. I have read. I’ve marked so many quotes in Terry Pratchett’s collected essays, but typed none of them up. I read most of this in the bath. (Heads up for difficult essays toward the end regarding dementia & assisted death.) ![[2024-10-Pratchett.jpeg]] I also read How to Not Always Be Working by Cody Cook Parrott in one evening. It felt like having a conversation with my younger self. I’ve also hurt my back trying to tidy up and rearrange to better fit our home ed needs. I’m both mentally and physically exhausted at this point. 🫠 I’m not sending an email this week, but I’m documenting how this week feels. Maybe I’ll point back to it next week. I’ve also made daily notes in my Artist Log for almost a month that I have not curated. I may come back through and a tidy things up. Or not. --- ## In the Studio ✂️ My Patreon letter for September is going to be late. I’ve composed it mentally, but haven’t been out to the studio to type it. Maybe I’ll wait and send two letters (Sept & Oct) with one stamp this month. I feel like my supporters understand.
