We all want to save children. Well, _most_ of us do. And our good desires can be hijacked, if we are not aware. We can be deceived. By now, it is fairly obvious that Tim Ballard has been incredibly deceptive with everyone who has donated to him, those who have tried to do good via his organization, and with many volunteers, media, and others. As usual, those who see the con from the beginning have not been listened to, despite actual credentials and experience, and the Mormons and many "Christians" have pursued a path of blind fanaticism about something that neither solves the problem which they ostentibly wish to fix (actually, in some ways, perhaps making it worse or ignoring the actual issues) nor uses their energy in useful ways. This is a tactic of the Adversary. I believe it is detailed in the Screwtape Letters. A lot of information is coming out fast and hard, especially around Tim's sexual indescretions.
