The 'trigger' which moves God to heal and restore His people has nothing to do with them, but with the over-reaching of their enemies. God will put up with much from the nations, but He draws the line at the mocking of Zion – This is Zion, whom no man seeks after. "Behold God's people, who are utterly abandoned." Never! Speaking humanly, it is as though God had thought perhaps to leave her incurable wounds uncured, until He saw how the nations viewed Zion's situation. Now, therefore, He will heal His rebellious people, for sure. God sought His Zion from eternity. This Zion is nothing less than than His very people. Those who mock Zion mock His Name and, so, His glory. Those who seek to devour her will be devoured. Scripture: [[Jeremiah 30#^4b778b]] Inbound Jot: [[I dealt the incurable wound]] #jot
