*“These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest and scribe.”* In those days, the days of Joiakim, the names of those who had returned, and were faithfully rebuilding the wall, were duly noted. But why were these the days of Joiakim, rather than the days of Nehemiah, or the day of Ezra the priest?
