[Seek](https://github.com/ryan-manor/Obsidian-Seek) is a hybrid semantic search plugin for Obsidian that pairs semantic, meaning-based search with classic keyword search. It's built on a cutting edge embedding model, with a methodical focus on relevance and simplicity. This allows you to search your vault for anything from exact phrases to vague ideas instantly. It runs entirely within Obsidian. There's no cloud service, no account or API key, and no separate local server (like Ollama) to install or keep running. Your notes and queries never leave Obsidian. After a one-time model download (per device), Seek runs completely offline, and it can even index new and edited notes on mobile. It also takes advantage of your properties, incorporating data like tags, aliases, and dates into account in its ranking.
