![[BackgroundImage.png]] So why Recursed Dev? Well the story goes, I was working on an engineering solution right out of college. I'd been working night and day on a variety of problems and there was this problem that had the data structure of a tree-like structure. Well, as all good engineers know, recursion is a great way to work with this structure. Talking with my fellow engineer late at night solving a problem, I must have been in my own world because he had mentioned, we'll need recursion in this algorithm to work through this problem. Well, I didn't hear that but then go super excited about 30 seconds later said, "Oh we should use recursion for this algorithm." The fellow engineer was looking at me like, I just said that. So now and forever more, each time I work on a problem with this fellow engineer, he always gets excited and says, "oh, I have a great idea! Recursion!" Now and forever, I will always be reminded of this one moment. ## Who dis - Short Version Hi, my name is Daniel and I am passionate about technology. I work with a variety of technologies and love to learn new stuff. I work at iGrafx, managing their cloud operations, I work on my company working on a variety of projects and apps. I also get to work on audio engineering and have a variety of interests that keep me busy reading. While there's a lot of content out there, I'll just post a bit of what I find interesting and some of the technical challenges I face.
