> [!HIGHLIGHT] What's this?
> This website will showcase how the note-taking program [Obsidian](https://obsidian.md/) can be used at various stages of an academic research workflow. The site is made inside Obsidian and uses [Obsidian Publish](https://obsidian.md/publish) to push content to the web.
>
> In the future, this site will be used for researcher training and contain extensive demonstration data. This version of the website is an early beta. For now, you can explore Obsidian's possibilities for research in [[DEMO_3_Obsidian_for_research_presentation|this overview presentation]], take a look around the rest of the showcase, and download the full Obsidian "vault" from [Zenodo](https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.15711452) you can open it in your own desktop **instance** of Obsidian. Once you've opened the files in Obsidian, you can start making your own edits. The [[DEMO_4_Sandbox_note|sandbox note]] is a good place to get started.
