![[GJD_Logo1.png|600]] I have been trying for a while to find an outlet for my thinking, learning and writing which is easy to use and with few, & low, barriers-to-entry (i.e. publish), and through which I can link my ideas around coaching, movement & training, thinking & learning, and even educational and ecological issues, etc. ![[image_6483441.jpg|200]] This is me, halloöchen :-) As much as all the above is true, I am starting this site primarily **for me** and the development of my [[understanding]] as a human and a coach. The idea behind this type of website which is an Obsidian "Public Vault" is one which came from the Emergence crew and Shawn Myszka and how they set up their Sport Movement Skill Conference in 2024 with the theme of **"Show your work"**. Perhaps they borrowed the term from Austin Kleon and his book of the same name [[Show Your Work, Austin Kleon]]. I also love this idea from Nicole van der Hoeven of "Learning in Public" written about excellently here: https://notes.nicolevanderhoeven.com/Learning+in+public. "Digital Garden" is another way of referring to this type of site, or "working with your garage door up". In the end, I think that "thinking out loud" sums it up, combined with the age-old adage "sharing is caring". :-) So herein lies my Public Vault: **Project Coach**. You will find ideas and thoughts which might not yet be fully thought-through or publication-ready, but which, I think, might still hold some value to be further explored and maybe even furthered by engagement with you, or just simply furthered by **you** in your context and environment! So, I hope that you enjoy perusing through some of these ideas and that you find value in some of them, as I have. Thanks for being here. Graham. :-) **PS:** I am a South African living now in Berlin, Germany. I have therefore learnt and come to love the German language. I might therefore throw some German words into my English notes, or even write a full note or 2 in German one day. I hope that you'll enjoy those too. **PPS:** As far as engagement and comments to further the conversation? I would love to find some way to engage, but I don't have a solution for that just yet. This needs to be worked out with the functionality of Obsidian Publish. Hopefully soon. ___________________________________________________
