Status:: Finished ([[collections/garlic graters|garlic graters]]) I like making these. They are made out of 250gr of clay. It takes very little time to throw these. In my kitchen it also doubles as a spoon rest. Because they are quick to make, I also like to make these to test out different glazes on different clay bodies. The raised spikes inside were made while fresh on the wheel. I throw these on an MDF batt with a sheet of building paper cut to size. This means I don't need to wire them off the batt, and just need to peel off the paper. Trimming is minimal, and they don't take a lot of space in the kiln. ![[garlic graters off the wheel.jpeg]]
