# Pomodoro technique
## Notes
The pomodoro technique is a simple way of increasing our ability to (Supports:: [[Focus]]) by giving (Jump:: [[Clarity]]) when should we work and when should we (Jump:: [[Rest]]). Usually a pomodoro is a set of 25/50 minutes of focus, followed by 5-15 minutes of rest. This is supposably optimized to how our mind works, because we can't focus for long periods of time without experiencing (Jump:: [[Burnout|Exhaustion]]).
Also, giving ourselves a clear framework we can reduce the power of (Weakens:: [[Procrastination|Distractions]]) because we have a dedicated time (of rest) where we can be distracted. Similar to the (Related:: [[5 minute rule|Five minute rule]]), the goal is (Supports:: [[Momentum]]). Once the clock starts we get into the rhythm, maintaining our focus and being able to do (Supports:: [[Deep Work]])
