## Note
Why aren't everyone nihilists? Purpose of life is a human problem, and as every problem, we came up with a solution, some *true world theory*, whether it is religion, the world of forms, etc... Some unifying theory that provides structure and meaning to life. However **in modern times we have debunked most of these theories, making it very difficult to be both a rationalist and a believer.**
Leading to "god is dead and we have killed him". He said it out of fear for the future of humanity.
However, we can't go back to just believing those things. It is a slave's morality, accepting other's morality as your own, although it uses you as a tool, and not as a person. Like Christians that promote "turning the other cheek", or other weak virtues - forgiveness, humility, obedience, all made to promote obedience and turn you into a herd.
(Related:: [[will to power]]), the power to be who you truly are. To have more control on your life and thrive. But, obviously, we will encounter resistance whether from others or the environment or simply bad luck. **Instead of accepting fate and deny the outside world completely, like (Jump:: [[Stoicism]]), you have to try**. **Act, work hard, be brave and decisive, do everything in your power to fulfill your potential and be who you are meant to be**.
The evolution of the man is based on four stages:
1. **The camel** - a slave that does exactly as he is told
2. **the lion** - a nihilist, secludes himself from the world, devoid of beliefs, moral, convictions and generally says no to everything
3. **the kid** - by trail and error he experiments different beliefs and actions based on his desires at that time
4. **the Uber human** - a person with strong, independent convictions, acts according to his will to power, knows what to say yes and no to. Avoid distractions and attempts to shackle himself
