Their face has a few wrinkles starting since they are pretty much worrying about something 24/7, but they hold their age well for the apocalypse. Biography/History: Ash is born to [[Holly Jacobs - Character Sheet|Holly Jacobs]] as her oldest child in Georgia. Their childhood is less than ideal and filled with arguments between Owen and Holly over their finances and his expectations for her in the home. Ash is raised with them and the assistance of [[Phillip Denver - Character Sheet|Phillip Denver]] and [[The Big Three#^4afc40|Doris Woodson]]. After the birth of Amber Isaacs things deteriorate fast and the family is split. Ash spends most of their time out of the house working to earn money for Holly, causing trouble with their flings and partners, and doing what they can to cope with life until they can move out. When Holly decides to leave town with them they steal Owen's truck and depart on short notice, not telling anyone where they are headed. Ash spends the next years of their life in New Orleans, Louisiana. Holly moves them in with her long time friend Darlene and begins working odd jobs to help with bills while Ash takes up working with a man named Harrick as a debt collector in 2031. In their work they meet [[Cinna Walters - Character Sheet|Cinna Walters]], a rough and tough southern boy with a golden core that falls for Ash when he is melted by their charms. The two move in together and begin to save money to open a bar together down the road. Their future together is cut short due to [[The Collapse (A rough timeline, essentially)|The Collapse]], more specifically, [[Collapse Sickness]]. Their mother, Holly, requests assistance with euthanizing herself after watching her friend suffer through cancer and not wanting the same fate. They successfully do and [[Float Me Over the Mist|spread her ashes in the mountains]]. Cinna passes sometime in mid 2044, not long after. Ash spends what little they have to bring Walters to his home state of Tennessee and buries him. They return to New Orleans, now Eddington, not sure where else to go. They begin to go by his name as a form of connection to him. Upon their return in 2044 they are given ownership of a bar by a man named Beem. They rename it *The Darlin'* and begin to grow a small but reliable crowd of regulars. Not long after they become the owner, they recruit a handful of staff and become a resident with a local apartment building that houses residents of the western part of Outer Eddington. In the fall of 2044, [[Timothy Rolfball - Character Sheet|Timothy Rolfball]] begins his campaign to purchase *The Darlin'* from Ash with the intent of bulldozing it for [[The Big Three#^4afc40|Sarah Kelly]], his employer. They resist much more fervently than Rolfball's typical marks, and the two enter an eight year rivalry. Every day, regardless of weather, Rolfball walks an hour to the bar with an offer, stands menacingly outside of the bar, and leaves only when Ash becomes too annoying or embarrassing for him to cope with. What they view as a joke he takes personally, and he eventually grows more and more irate with the flippant attitude towards his attempt. The routine is distracting for them, and they are able to begin healing from Cinna's passing due to the regularity in which they can wake up and expect to heckle a man who works for someone that they cannot stand. Personality: Their mood is highly dependent on their environment, who is trying to fuck with them, and level of sobriety or stress. When sober, Ash could be described as level-headed, manipulative, and painfully sneaky. Their goal of surviving as long as possible while still being comfortable makes it so that they greatly enjoy easy solutions that don't involve violence or losing money. Around the right people, they loosen up and can show their true colors. They can be fun, childish, and deeply enjoy spending time with people they care about over bottles of whiskey or wine. When harassed by someone trying to know them too quickly, they're prone to snapping. They've had enough attempts on their life to know that they can't trust just anybody, and they know that if someone is looking to just get something out of them they have to beat them to the punch. When around people they've got something to gain from Cinna typically reads them to see if they're a mark, and has been known to use their influence as a person in the area to gain favors and trust. While drunk, all bets are off. Cinna regresses to their personality as a younger individual, and they treat everyone as if they're their closest friend even to the detriment of any plans that had been made before that point. When stressed, they rarely think and simply act. Especially when stressed from a fight or a threat to a friend (or helpful foe) Cinna is known to do the first thing that comes to mind and not regard their own safety aside from if it is too late to do anything other than get both parties killed.  Name: Ashlyn "Mona" Jacobs Age: 40's, roughly 43 Gender: AMAB, non-binary (They/She) Sexuality: Pansexual, androromantic Height: 6' 3" Weight: ~180 Appearance: In this form, Ash is much more feminine. Their hips are more pronounced, they have a B cup, and their hair is longer. Along with softer features and a more pronounced "South of the Mason Dixon line" accent, Ashlyn is a feminine counterpart to their sibling Ash (if you believe the stories.) Biography/History: Ashlyn is Ash Jacobs' interpretation of themself as a feminine person. They use this persona to stay under the radar inside The Gauche. They run The Mercurial Bee. They help to provide support to Group C with other veterans and NPC helpers giving support. She feigns anger when people try to pick through her disguise by expressing that she doesn't want to live in her twin's shadow her whole life. Following the conclusion of Groups A, B, and C she becomes somewhat of a true identity that they flow between. Personality: Ashlyn is both very similar and very different from Cinna. For one, she doesn't go by a stage name, but instead prefers everyone call her by Ashlyn to dissuade comparison. She uses female pronouns more often than neutral ones, and upon being asked if her name is Cinna, will get angry provided it isn't a simple mistaken identity issue. She takes pride in her work, has an adoration for moonshine, and loves meeting new people. Her personality is very dominant and commanding when provoked, and she has a strong love for surprising people.
