# Thematic Number A **thematic number** is a re-occurring number that points to a larger theme. One Knight Stand uses numbers in a deliberate way. # The Thematic Numbers You will see the following numbers repeat themselves: ## The Number 4 - Your *Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day* that starts the game in Book 1 occurs in four major patterns (at least you'll be able to address these four events during [[Adrian's Chapter 1 Introduction]]): 1. The [[Midnight Mauler]] attack 2. [[The First Dream]] 3. [[Devil's Mark]] 4. The haunted apartment - Starting with [[The First Dream]] and **consistently** resuming in [[Chapter 1-2]], choices are usually split into four options. - Most major customization hubs will give you four options. ## The Number 7 - Starting **consistently** in [[Chapter 1-2]], many choices are split into seven options. - For starters: [[Adrian's Chapter 1 Introduction]]. - You'll find **seven** [[harbinger|harbingers]] to form a Lesser Circle of Seven. ## The Number 9 - You can mention the number nine during the elevator ride. ## The Number 13 - Starting **consistently** in [[Chapter 1-2]], some choices are split into 13 options. - For starters: [[Adrian's Chapter 1 Introduction]]. - You'll need to find **13** total [[harbinger|harbingers]] to form a Greater Circle of Thirteen. - See: [[Thematic Number of ROs]] - You can turn off your TV/monitor in [[The Legend Begins...|Chapter 1-1]] 13 times for an achievement.
