The time period involved here is not 100% certain in the historical record, but it was at some point between 150 and 200 years ago. Nobles rebelled, armies were routed, and the economy of the sparsely populated region went to shambles. In the midst of all this chaos, [[Ravine]] was attacked by a Blue Dragon by the name of [[Hatrumak]]. The infrastructure of the city was ruined, and much of the treasure that remained there was thought to have been captured by the dragon. It is unknown whether [[Edwyana's Diadem]] was among the treasures captured in [[Hatrumak]]'s attack. [[Hatrumak]] has not been openly aggressive toward any other adjacent civilizations since his attack on [[Ravine]], further supporting the theory that he may have been coerced into causing such devastation centuries ago. However, most believe that he still resides in a lair on the border between [[The Scorched Lands]] and [[The Vast Swamp]].
