I was able to make the Vikings my super team, but then winning have grown tired to me, but I don't want to increase the difficulty to extreme with this squad. Does the struggle make winning better?
How will I react if the real Minnesota Vikings win the Super Bowl?
I think that hardship ultimately makes a rewarding payoff much more satisfying, but it's important to not lean into one side or the other too extremely. Hardship is exactly that, hard, but the reward should not be taken for granted either. If winning (reward) is given too freely and naturally, then the reward begins to lose meaning. It's why [[Retro Bowl]] became a little boring to me: I had won the retro bowl 8 out of the past 10 seasons.
Why is the season where I'm King of Shit Mountain (winning the division at 9-8) and then go on a playoff tear to the Retro Bowl more exciting than the one where I'm 15-2 and have a pretty easy walk to the Retro Bowl? Is it the lowered expectations? The struggle?
