#zettel #gaming sourced from: [[Wario Land 4]] # Pinball Zone from Wario Land 4 is a memorable level because of its dichotomy between modes before and after activating the Frog Switch Throwing the balls is only so fun, the problem I think is the music since it just plods along when you can tell it's just the Johnny B. Goode riff but slowed significantly. Probably my least favorite level as of the end of my first playthrough (which was all of the Emerald and Ruby Passages). the level feels intentionally VERY slow. The Pinball zone gets incredibly stressful, however as you step on the [[The Frog Switches in Wario Land 4 are a Great Mechanic for Inducing Stress in a Familiar Space|Frog Switch]] because now you have to be precise with the way you throw things and if you miss time continues to wind down. all those precise throws you were struggling with in the early part of the stage now get that much harder with the intense music and timer applied to the level.
