# Gates to Infinity is Overcomplicated Outside of Dungeons, Oversimple in its Dungeon Exploration
There are too many moving parts outside of the dungeon exploration process for how simple dungeon crawling is. I spend like 10 minutes fuckin around in Post Town AND the Paradise all so I can do a single mission in a dungeon which takes maybe 5 minutes maximum. It's a bit unbalanced in its pacing.
The Paradise is kind of like Join Avenue and the multiplayer parts of Sun and Moon, and I care just as much about the Paradise as I do those spaces. It's a space where you can invite shops to set up in the area around your base which allows you to customize the strength of moves and get rarer items, and play minigames that can yield prize tickets and all that jazz. Deep Sea Explorers, or whatever it's called is like a minute of unresponsive gyro controls for a bunch of prize tickets? Like, this is cool and all, but there's so many moving parts to consider and you can develop your own plot of land to make more resources available, and that's fine, but it's not why I play Mystery Dungeon.
And I don't really care to try to figure out how to optimize my team when I literally can only spend a couple minutes in a dungeon before I'm immediately booted out of there because the dungeons are incredibly easy, far easier than the order games, it feels. This simplicity in returning to older dungeons isn't really that great because it feels more like a chore to explore the dungeons.
It's made worse that I can't even do more than one mission at a time, that rather, I have to select a mission, have Azumarill tell me I've selected the mission, watch the gate animation go, then walk over to the gate and then go to the dungeon. I can't select two missions to accomplish in the same dungeon for some reason which really makes no sense to me considering that feature wasn't even really a "feature" in previous games, and was almost encouraged in the previous two games.
