I wonder if there's an extended version? - happy jazz pokemon square theme - Chikorita calling Squirtle "weird" lol what a read. - they really waste no time with this whole situation. - I really am watching one big advertisement. - Like, how DO you translate the actual gameplay of Mystery Dungeon to an anime? It just turns into a standard affair "adventure" series it seems like. - But they show off the general game mechanics in the game: - "Pecha Scarves prevent poison" - Eat an Oran Berry to restore health - Quick Seed doubles speed! - Great backgrounds on this - nice watercolor feeling of the time - Team A.C.T. name drop - "Go ARBOK!"?!?!?! sir that's an ekans - Corsola Twigs - Wow Team Meanies are actually malicious to Pichu - They're mean but the show still presents them to be the Goldfish Poop gang they are. - Oh hey look, it's Skarmory - "So the baby likes to play with bubbles!" - Woah wait what the hell the voice change. - Oh so the red eyes were because Skarmory was angry. - Doesn't explain why Skarmory tied up Pikachu though. - That was cute. ## Voice acting - Definitely seems like they just asked the regular dub people from 2006 to do this episode. It's just another day in the booth, but you get to do slightly different voices! - LOL WHAT IS PICHU'S VOICE - Chikorita is Misty's VA, Michele Knotz - Also plays Skarmory doing a clearly "bird" team. - Squirtle - "me and my big mouth", great line read. - ANOTHER BIG MOUTH ACKNOWLEDGEMENT - Max and Wobuffet's VA! - Whiscash is the narrator team - Charmander is just Emily Williams with a plugged nose - "It's time to push them back with a dose of ember!
