#game-review/rom-hack # Pokemon Fools Gold  [Console:: Gameboy Color] [Status:: Played] [Approximate Start Date:: 2024-10-19] [Finish Date:: ] [Clear Time:: ] [Total Play Time:: 1h 20m] [nReplays:: 0] ## [Rating:: 60] A VERY cool romhack of [[Pokemon Gold]] Version which takes elemts from different Pokemon games, and remixes the whole experience to be something out of a parallel universe. # Playthrough Notes - started 2024-10-19 played to sprout tower # My Thoughts - the idea of finding "alternate universe" pokemon is so good dude, i love it. - Coupled with the Tera leak of Gamefreak and seeing al lthe beta pokemon, the idea of beta pokemon / parallel universe Pokemon has me in a vortex of ideas. - stopped playing on my initial go because bellsprout is a steel type and my quilava is an ice type - then again, this might be how Chikorita players felt in the original Crystal, especally when there isn't a nicer level curve. - adjusted exp curve is nice - the rare instance where you probably SHOULD play with a fastforward button on an emulator if you want to see everything. # Favorite Moments / Memories - # What were you doing when not playing this? - Alexandra Inn in Traverse City Michigan, just bouncing around a few games on the Mister # Relevant Links -
