It's not for me because it is for 5 year-olds. There is no challenge, the only goal for this game is to distract a child to get them to waste about the same amount of time as they would watching an episode of Dragon Tales, amusingly enough. -3 points Because Jumping controls with Max and Emmy are both bad. # Playthrough Notes Jillian told me to play this on stream, so I did. It's the first game she remembers playing as a kid. I had the ROM on hand so I decided to give it a go. # My Thoughts I mean, the game is made for five year olds, so I am NOT the target demographic for this. Despite the weird clunky controls at times, the world is actually kind of interesting to paly around in? the levels rare just sort of strung together and the objective is "find something", whether it's X amounts of object, or people looking for other people, etc. The music is midi and basic and obviously not anything special. Despite this, I was actually kind of jamming with the winter mountain theme to an extent? Still obviously incredibly basic and unimpressive. But should we give special credence to it being a kids game, or should we keep it on a level playing field? That really is the question. Each level, provided you go the right way is almost exactly a half hour long if you try to get literally everything on screen. I have to imagine that that was the intention, and it's kind of nice to see that there's at least SOME thought put into it? Or maybe I'm just reaching. There's a lot of moments in the game that are clearly meant to be "exciting" for a child, like going down a slide, riding down a fast river, or spinning through a root/cave system.
