## What is special Nuclear Material (SNM)?
Special nuclear Material (SNM) is defined by Title I of the Atomic energy Act of 1954 as:
- Plutonium
- Uranium-233
- Uranium enriched in the isotope Uranium-235 by 20% or more. [^1]
