# Introduction
"Implementation science is the study of methods to promote the adoption and integration of evidence-based practices, interventions, and policies into routine health care and public health settings to improve the impact on population health."
What it is: Implementation science is the study of how to take evidence-based practices (like health interventions or new clinical workflows) and successfully integrate them into real-world settings. It focuses on the theory, methods, and research behind why some interventions work in practice and others don’t.
Key Focus: It’s concerned with understanding the barriers and facilitators to effective implementation, and how to address those barriers to ensure the successful adoption of programs or interventions.
Goal: To bridge the gap between research and practice, ensuring that effective interventions are not just studied but actually applied and sustained in healthcare settings.
At the moment, in my context, I want to learn more on Implementation Strategies -- steps i need to take to get service running smoothly.

# Why implementation science is important?
- We need to learn the "stuff" needed to be done to encourage people to do the "thing".
- We need strategies to bridge the divide between research and practice - bring programs that work to communities in need.
# Why do this? (This is Implementation Strategies)
- Without a plan, a strategy, nothing can be done.
