Fargo Moorhead Opera teamed me with [Deborah Brevoort](https://www.deborahbrevoort.com/) and she did the hard work of identifying a promising story from The Decameron (Day 5 Story 10) which was turned into DINNER 4 3. During COVID, I learned how to work a new and better DAW (Digital Audio Workstation), a terrific program called Reaper. I also began to learn a program called Gigperformer, which allows you to use all the wonderful sounds available through MIDI and virtual instruments in a live setup. SPEED DATING TONIGHT! turned out to be ideal for online productions--several schools signed up to do it during the lockdown. DINNER 4 3 turned out to be wonderful fun and minute per minute might have had the highest production values of anything I've ever done. After COVID was over, FM Opera did the opera again with their artists-in-residence.
