## Frame.work laptops Framework is a company that creates repairable laptops. I have a framework 13 on which I am running [[Ubuntu]] 23.04 using [[i3 window manager]] and a combination of other linux utilities. [[2023-07-29]] I ordered a 16" version, which should come Q1 2024. ## Links and other notes ### Hibernation on the [[Framework]] Laptop and [[Ubuntu]] It looks like using secure boot disables hibernation on linux, and that in general hibernation boot is just slower than starting from fresh boot, so maybe writing a script to quickly restore my working spaces would be more amenable.
