This text is preserved only in Japan, and Amoghavajra is unlikely to have been involved in its compilation; the end-title reads “Secret Ritual Protocols for Acala of the Victorious Army, in One Scroll” (勝軍不動祕密儀軌一卷). The Taishō edition is based on a printed edition from Kyōwa 享和 1 (1801). According to the text, the *vidyārāja* Acala of the victorious army is one of five *vidyārāja*s born from the heart of Mahāvairocana and has forty-eight attendants, each of whom is said to be a manifestation of a particular buddha, bodhisattva, etc.; the iconographical characteristics and powers of each are also described.
