*Guanzizai pusa mu tuoluoni jing* 觀自在菩薩母陀羅尼經 *Sūtra of the Dhāraṇī of the Mother of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteśvara* \**Avalokiteśvaramātā-dhāraṇī* Translated by Faxian 法賢 in 997. According to the opening section, this dhāraṇī was spoken by Samantabhadra with the permission of the Buddha when he was residing in Vaiśālī. The Chinese text generally tallies with the Tibetan translation (D. 725/909), although the wording of the dhāraṇī (the first half of which is translated in the Tibetan version) differs somewhat.
