# MOC Notes from the Masters
## The Masters
As I interviewed these vetereran primer reloaders I noted a couple of simularities.
- Sort the primers before reloading them. Don't mix the pistol components (meaning both the cup and anvil) with rifle components. This is critical when segregating the primers from the brass of 223/556 casings, 300 Black Out.
- Ensure that the primers are thoroughly (100%) saturated with the activator. Most of them mention applying a second application of the activator after a few moments.
- Equally important is to let the primers activate undisturbed for at least 30 mins (to an hour)
- A few vets said "air drying naturally" is the only way to go. Dehydration using 'say' a toaster oven leads to ftf's. Conversely, Reno (after an hour of activation time) routinely uses a toaster oven (temperature set "as high as it will go") for an hour or two.
