If the target is a creature, the caster must make a ranged spell attack with its spellcasting modifier against the target's AC. On a hit, the orb produces crystals that attach to the target. On a miss, the crystals appear in an unoccupied space within 5 feet of the target. > > The crystal casts *Antimagic Field* centered on itself, until the crystals disappear at the end of the spell, or if it is overloaded. > > To overload the crystals, a creature can cast a spell directly targeted at the them, despite the antimagic field. If the 4th level spell or higher, the crystals shatter. A *Fireball* spell is cast, centered on the crystals, of a level equal to the spell used to destroy them.
