### --- in the (social) media and information environment of the Trump era, we move so quickly from event to event, from discourse to discourse, from story to story - zero attention is given to the organization or usability of all the information that's available to us. ^intro we rely on headlines and memes to exchange info with one another. we endlessly repeat arguments. not to mention the headlines are terribly written on purpose in order to generate clicks, & the media makes no effort to connect the events of now to the context of the past. ### --- the solution is to **[[PIVOT TO WIKI]]**. there are many tools and options out there. this site uses obsidian sync & publish as a matter of personal preference. this wiki is not intended to be a fully comprehensive tool because i'm just one guy. but i do intend to use it to organize my thoughts, my references, and demonstrate the utility of these kinds of resources. ## --- this site is very much a WIP right now please don't yell at me for half-formed thoughts. if the content is bad it's probably because i'm not finished with it yet
