Characters have a variety of Skills that are gained during character creation and during gameplay.
The Skill’s Rank determines how many dice will be [[Dice Pool Roller|rolled]] during a [[Check]].
#### Advancement
Skills are advanced during gameplay with [[Advancement Point|Advancement Points]].
#### Untrained Skill Use
You can attempt to use a Skill with no rank. You will roll the [[Approach]] value as the number of dice, but *only* a result of 6 is counted as a [[Successes|Success]] and the sixes do not explode.
If you successfully use an unranked Skill 3 times, you will gain Rank 1 in that Skill. Track the amount of unranked successes in the AP section, to the right of your Skill rank on the [[Character Sheet]].
