A higher dimensional space in which the universe exists. That is the current theory, but it’s possible that the two are connected (or not) in ways we cannot comprehend. In Imperium, an entity known as The Void exists in this place. It has been slowly “dying” since before the formation of the universe ([[Fifth Realm]]). It is the source of [[Voldeflus]], from which the [[Divines]] originated. The continuous outflow of its essence provides an endless source for the divines power and existence. If The Void ever fully ceased to exist, the divines would eventually fade away along with it. If that were to happen, it is also possible that the [[Inner Realms]] might collapse. How that might affect the Fifth Realm is unknown. But it has been speculated that the inner realms are responsible for the function, and even physical laws, of our universe.
