The area of the galaxy affected by the [[Stellar Decay]]. It is entirely possible that there are, or will be, many habitable planets in this region. However, with the reduced stellar output of their stars, it will likely take millions of years for any of those planets’ climates to stabilize. With current human technology, venturing back into the Dead Zone is not worth it.
