The universe comprises five realms. Our former reality exists upon the outermost or top layer, known as the [[Fifth Realm]]. Going “down” from there, there are two intermediary realms. The [[Fourth Realm]]/[[Umbral Realm]] is a hazy reflection of reality, but absent of naturally occurring living beings. The [[Third Realm]] or The [[Fold]], is a membrane that divides the higher realms from those below. It can be traversed, but there is little to no physical structure to orient oneself. The [[Second Realm]]/[[Spirit Realm]] is the source of Flux [[Essence]]. Impressions or shadows of living beings can be seen here, but there are no physical characteristics.
