Tenets of the [[Isylorian Order]]:
1. **No [[Divines|Divine]] shall be elevated above the Isys’ir. For he is the prime mover; the center of all things** *(worship of other gods, even the Isyrric children, is heresy - by extension, the rebel Divines are heretical)*.
2. **Defamation of the Divine or the Cleri is heresy** *(don’t say “Guthalyat” around the devout)*
3. **[[Dütheomancy]] beyond the bounds of the Cleri is heresy** *(post-[[Holoscaral Outbreak]], this has become unenforceable, reduced to being frowned upon)*.
4. **[[Amerdus]] and other heretical abominations shall be disclosed and purged** *(later appended to include [[Hazraadim]])*.
5. **Communion with the church shall occur upon the first free day after the beginning of the work cycle** *(this ensures church attendance and prevents any particular day being overcrowded)*.
6. **Thou shalt not commit violence of aggression** *(don’t assault or kill people, excluding self defense)*.
7. **The virtue of empathy shall be honored** *(be considerate and help others, an original tenet from [[Hessa Ideras]])*.
8. **Thou shalt not commit immoral or unclean acts** *(this is left vague on purpose, partly due to cultural differences and selective enforcement)*.
9. **The essence of life is sacred, the body by extension is a sacred vessel** *(unnecessary cyberonics are frowned upon and self harm/suicide is sinful)*.
10. **Thou shalt not commit deception, extortion, or larceny** *(an unsurprising point of contention with the corporations)*.
11. **Inhuman species shall not be offered confidence** *(aliens are untrustworthy, appended during the [[Consolidation Wars]])*.
12. **The possession or use of Sehrlitech is heresy** *(appended after the rise of [[Deitech]], despite the inquisition relying upon such weaponry).

Differences within the [[Leducian Orthodoxy]]:
At a glance, they appear more fundamentalist than the modern Isylorian Order. However, they are actually less restrictive in some tenets (namely magic use).
- They are actually more lax on magic use. While frowned upon, they see it as part of the natural order. Those with such abilities are *encouraged* to join the church, however.
- Church attendance is mandatory every Saturday (only the Leducite Cleri are allowed to work/serve on the holy day), and a daily afternoon prayer period is observed (usually immediately after lunch, 1300-1400).
- Violence against the unfaithful is tolerated.
- Empathy has been twisted into a recruiting tool, Leducites are *encouraged* to entice the unfaithful and/or non-believers into the fold. Usually by promising to ease burdens and heal sickness through church “miracles.”
- “Immoral and unclean acts” are given a broad definition. Prostitution, adultery, sexual assault, sexual exploitation of minors, masturbation, pornography, pre/marital sex, impure thoughts, coveting others spouses, etc. (but not homosexuality). This extends to “deception, extortion and larceny” as well.
- Suicide will get you excommunicated, and your body burned and discarded. Family members will pretend you never existed.
- Morocaschics are seen as abominations, but the Lacir are trusted allies of humanity.
- The Leducites do not view Sehrlitech as inherently bad, but are wary of its use.
