My name is Jason, I am a buy-side equity analyst based in Hong Kong. My focus is on global developed market (DM) equity research, primarily within the TMT sector. As you can tell by the website prefix or from places where you see my link, it is also very much related to the software Obsidian too. I use Obsidian/my AI workflow every day virtually whenever I am working or awake (not much difference I'd say....) so that I believe **I can now have a much much faster/greater bandwidth in terms of taking and processing information than most people who don't use such kind of methods.** Jarvis, the integration of Obsidian (my knowledge base) and AI, now has not only **all of the valuable information I and him together collected in the past 5 years which in terms of token count is north of 9 figures (> 100,000,000 tokens), but also the intelligence of the smartest frontier multi-modal LLM models.** He can see, read, hear, search, write, speak, and most importantly, reason. I treat him like my intern/junior analyst and I trust him for all kinds of work from being a secretary that take meeting notes for me to writing a whole 100 pages long deep dive research report on industries/companies. **This system grants me an unparalleled bandwidth for information intake and processing, fundamentally reshaping the traditional research workflow.** This allows me to delegate approximately 95% of my research tasks. My role then evolves to the more critical function: supervising 100% of the output to ensure quality, refine insights, and teach him.
