This spell is split into two phases, one taking place on the turn you cast the spell, and the other on your next turn. **Turn One:** Choose 5 points on the edge of *C*. Five 10' diameter 15' high pillars of magical darkness shaped like fingers erupt from the ground at those points. Creatures must make a Dexterity saving throw. Creatures take 4d8 cold damage on a failed save, or half that on a successful save. The fingers will follow creatures for a distance equal to 2/3rds the radius of *C*. **Turn Two:** Creatures must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, creatures are dragged toward the center of *C* a distance equal to (the radius of *C* - 5') and take 1d8 cold damage. This effect does not keep dragging creatures past the center of *C*. **Heightened (+1):** Turn 1 damage is increased by 1d8.
